Matthew 5:8 “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
“My beloved, it is true that the pure in heart will see God, will behold the beatific vision when they have been purified in preparation for eternity. But there is another meaning here. For those who are pure in heart while on earth will also see God. To those who purify themselves through frequent confession, penance, prayer, and reception of the Eucharist, to these devout souls I will reveal myself in some way. I will give light to their hearts and help speed them on the path to purity. There is nothing I will not do for a soul that strives after purity. Indeed, I search the earth for such souls, like Noah’s dove searching for a place to land. The pure heart is an unwavering beacon where the Blessed Trinity longs to dwell and find rest. Seek after purity, my little ones. What you gain on this earth will speed your entry into eternity.”
Blessed Trinity of Love, I place my I love you and I thank you in this longing you have for little souls striving for purity of heart. Help us in our weak efforts so that all we accomplish of purity will have its origin in you. Father, Son, Holy Spirit, make your home in me. I love you! Take your rest here. Amen
